Uncoated, breathable ripstop nylon ideal for hammocks.  40d is the perfect balance – lower weight than 70d ripstop, and significantly stronger than 30d.  This fabric was deemed 2nds by the factory but of such high quality that they finished it to fist quality specs.  We have yet to find any flaw.

Very light coating, such that it is just barely breathable.  Great for the outer layer of an underquilt or top layer of a bivy sack as it sheds water very well.  Not suitable for a tarp.  Very LIMITED QTY.

WPB – Waterproof and breathable!  Gore-Tex® is an excellent outdoor gear and clothing fabric.  It is rugged and keeps you dry while allowing moisture vapor to escape.

The GORE-TEX® membrane: The secret of GORE-TEX® products — which are both completely waterproof and completely breathable at the same time — lies within its our revolutionary bi-component membrane. The membrane contains over 9 billion microscopic pores which are approximately 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times bigger than a molecule of moisture vapor. This ultralight fabric is ideal for quilts, sleeping bags, down gear, hammock overcovers, windshirt, etc.  Incredibly soft hand and feel.  Impetus has been tested only with 800fp+ down.
