For one reason or another this Silnylon has been deemed seconds by the manufacturer. Material could be dirty, have minor cosmetic or weaving flaws, or a few thick splotches of silicone.

X-Pac™ – Backcountry Series.  DWR  54″ Wide  Nylon face fabric, Black Polyester INSERT™, Polyester X-Ply™, UV resistant adhesive, 0.5mm PET film.  The 1/2 mil film on one side enhances its waterproofness and bias strength.  Polyester warp insert has been added for low stretch and better rip-stop properties.  Packs can be made with film facing inside or out, depending on technical and visual requirements.  Ideal for backpacks and similar gear.

WX20 (TwiLight): 5.0oz/yd².  200d Nylon face fabric.  Lighter and more flexible than the equivalent VX21 fabric.

WX40 (TwiLight 2): 7.5oz/yd².  400d Nylon face fabric.  The TwiLight 2 fabric is the same as TwiLight, but uses 400 denier nylon taffeta for strength in high-load areas, while remaining lighter and more flexible than the equivalent VX42.
