Insultex Thermal Insulation. 60″ wide.

Insultex is a new, cutting-edge, ultra-light insulation with a wide range of applications. Insultex is an extremely thin, micro-perforated closed-cell foam with a poly scrim quilted both sides. It is easily sewn, incredibly lightweight, very easy to work with, is boyant and retains amazing heat.

Note: While Insultex is technically breathable due to the micro-perforations, it is practically a vapor barrier. This means it is great for underquilts, but for top quilts, you will need to keep vapor barrier considerations in mind.

Micro Cell Foam.  30″ wide.  (1/4″ = 0.83oz/ft²)  (1/8″ = 0.42oz/ft²)

Closed cell foam with micro cells provides the ideal foam for backpack parts – waistbelts, shoulder straps, and back panels. It also provides good insulation for sleeping pads and can be used to provide structure or padding to gear.

Neoprene Foam.  20″ wide.  

Neoprene is softer and squishier than Microcell Foam.  This is the foam only, it does not have the fabric overlay that is often associated with neoprene in gear like surfwear.
